You can synchronize your DJI Osmo Action camera with Tentacle SYNC E or ORIGINAL timecode generator, TIMEBAR timecode display & TRACK E audio recorder. For more information about Tentacle syncing workflow with the Setup App, click here.
Proceed as follows:
- Set camera and Tentacle device to the same frame rate*
- Sync your Tentacle and set the Output Volume in the app to LINE or AUTO
- Set the camera menu:
- Settings > (scroll down) select > Timecode
- Connect your Tentacle device to the USB-C input of the DJI camera

Alternatively you can use the original Osmo Action 3,5mm Audio-Adapter (compatible Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4) along with our 3.5mm mini jack cable included in every SYNC E set.

* The actual NTSC frame rates displayed by DJI for the Osmo series are different from the frame rates specified in the settings. So here is an overview on how to do the frame rate settings on both devices so the synchronization process is successful.

Note:
This cable is not suitable for the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 & 4 since the firmware update OP4 Firmware:01.02.07.05. We will keep you updated as soon as this problem is solved.
If possible keep the Tentacle device connected to the camera at all times. If you jam-sync the camera, please do so as often as possible.
