The Leica SL3 can be synchronized with any Tentacle SYNC E or ORIGINAL timecode generator, TIMEBAR timecode display or a TRACK E audio recorder. For more information about Tentacle syncing workflow with the Setup App, click here.
Proceed as follows:
- Set your camera and Tentacle device to the same frame rate (otherwise the timecode won't be recognized)
- Sync your Tentacle and set the Output Volume in the app to LINE or AUTO
- Connect the Tentacle to the flash synchro socket of the camera
- Set camera to video format
- Set camera menu:
- Timecode > Free Run
- Timecode > TC Synchronisation > External
