The Tascam FR-AV4 audio recorder can be synchronized with Timecode by any Tentacle SYNC E or ORIGINAL timecode generator, TIMEBAR timecode display & TRACK E audio recorder. For more information about Tentacle syncing workflow with the Setup App, click here.
Proceed as follows:
- Set your audio recorder and Tentacle device to the same frame rate
- Menu FR-AV4 > Timecode > Frame Rate
- Set your audio recorder:
- Menu > Timecode > Master > TC IN (Jam)
- Sync your Tentacle and set the Output Volume in the app LINE or AUTO
- Connect the Tentacle device to TC IN at the back of your recorder (3.5 mm)
