Both cameras have a dedicated BNC timecode and Gen-Lock inputs on the rear panel. The Tentacle SYNC E, ORIGINAL, TIMEBAR or TRACK E is connected using a 3.5 mm jack to BNC cable.
You can synchronize your Lumix with Tentacle SYNC E or ORIGINAL timecode generator, TIMEBAR timecode display & TRACK E audio recorder. For more information about Tentacle syncing workflow with the Setup App, click here.
Proceed as follows:
- Make sure first, your LUMIX camera firmware is the latest version.
Set your Tentacle Sync device and camera to the same frame rate.
Sync your Tentacle Sync device and set the Output Level to LINE or AUTO
Set your camera: Menu > [System] > [Timecode] > Timecode Mode > External TC (LTC)
Connect the Tentacle Sync device to the Timecode In port on your LUMIX camera
Verify the Timecode Sync on the camera
