The Sony Venice is well equipped for timecode synchronization with file timecode, which basically every editing software is able read and process. The Burano can be synced from any Tentacle SYNC E or ORIGINAL timecode generator, TIMEBAR timecode display or TRACK E audio recorder. Proceed as follows:
- Set the camera and Tentacle device to the same frame rate
- Sync your Tentacle device and set the Output Volume in the app to LINE or AUTO
- Set your cameras menu:
- TC/Media > Timecode > Mode: Preset > Run: Free Run
- TC/Media > TC Display > Display Select: Timecode
- Connect your Tentacle to the TC IN port of the camera
- Connect your Tentacle device to the TC port on the back of the body
- The camera display with show EXT-LK once the camera is synced
