You can synchronize your GoPro cameras with Tentacle SYNC E or ORIGINAL timecode generator, TIMEBAR timecode display & TRACK E audio recorder. For more information about Tentacle syncing workflow with the Setup App, click here.
You can record timecode as an audio signal on one audio track of the camera via the mini jack microphone input of specific GoPro accessories. With the Hero 8/9/10 you can even record file timecode that is stored directly as metadata. Make sure to set your cameras menu accordingly and have the camera and Tentacle device set to the same frame rate.
Proceed as follows:
- Set camera and Tentacle device to the same frame rate
- Sync your Tentacle and set the Output Volume in the app to MIC or AUTO
- Connect a Tentacle to the 3.5 mm Mic input of the GoPro camera accessory
