You can synchronize your Atomos monitors that do not have a Timecode input with Tentacle SYNC E or ORIGINAL timecode generator, TIMEBAR timecode display & TRACK E audio recorder. For more information about Tentacle syncing workflow with the Setup App, click here.
Proceed as follows:
- Set camera and Tentacle device to the same frame rate
- Sync your Tentacle and set the Output Volume in the app to MIC or AUTO
- Connect a Tentacle to Mic input of your camera to send Audio Timecode to the camera
- audio timecode signal will be sent on an additional track along with the video to your monitor recorder via HDMI
- Sync the clips based on audio timecode in post-production

Our Tentacle SYNC Es don't use the same Bluetooth protocol as the AtomX. This means, wireless sync is not possible.
