Are you having problems adding your Tentacle SYNC E, TRACK E or TIMEBAR device to the Tentacle Setup App? Here is the general workflow and some tipps if it doesn't work.
Add a new device:
- Open the Tentacle Setup App (iOS or Android), the device list will be empty
- Tap on + Add Device
- A list of available Tentacle devices nearby will be shown
- Select the one, you would like to add & tap on it
- Hold your Tentacle very close to your phone to finish the procedure
- Once a Tentacle is added, it will appear automatically in the list next time the app is opened
Troubleshooting:
If your phone seems to have a weak bluetooth antenna and your Bluetooth antenna symbol in the Setup App is not showing 3 beams, please hold your Tentacle device literally against your smartphone or lay it on your screen. You can find the "hotspot" of your Bluetooth antenna when you move your SYNC E or TRACK E around your phone until the antenna-graphic in the "add device" screen shows 3 of 3 beams.
