The Sound Devices Astral Mini (A20-Mini)and the Astral TX (A20-TX) can be synchronized with any Tentacle SYNC E or ORIGINAL timecode generator, TIMEBAR timecode display or a TRACK E audio recorder. For more information about Tentacle syncing workflow with the Setup App, click here.
Proceed as follows:
- Set your transmitter and Tentacle device to the same frame rate
- Sync your Tentacle and set the Output Volume in the app to LINE or AUTO
- Connect the Tentacle to the USB-C input of the transmitter
