The Tascam DR-701D offers a dedicated Timecode input, allowing you to connect your Tentacle SYNC E using a BNC adapter cable.
The Tascam DR-10L lacks synchronization capability, as it's a mono recorder without the option to record Timecode. Additionally, the Bluetooth adapter AK-BT1 only enables remote control when used with other Tascam products.
For all other Tascam recorders, Audio TC (LTC) can only be recorded on an additional track. You can use either the 3.5 mm mini jack MIC input or one of the XLR inputs with a compatible adapter cable. For monitoring the recording, you'll need to mute the Audio TC signal on the headphone output in the settings of the Tascam.
After recording, the Audio Timecode (LTC) must be embedded into the metadata of the audio files using our software. You can use either Tentacle Sync Studio for macOS or Tentacle Timecode Tool for Windows to accomplish this task before importing the files into your editing program.
